Closer to the bus stop

Our neighbours have gathered here to share why they need a closer bus stop. The initiative calls on the City of Zagreb and ZET to identify a safe, accessible solution for the whole of Blok Vilima Korajca.

This is a virtual sign of support, not a sign of a future stop. The location and corresponding existing line or lines should be determined by ZET traffic-technical analysis.

The orientation inscriptions of buildings, entrances and streets are part of the stage-show on the roofs, along the entrances and on the base. The roof and entrance panels indicate the building's designation, address and about 380 residents of the entire building: an equal frame estimate for each of the nine buildings, assuming about 150 inhabited dwellings and 2.53 household members. It's not an actual tenant list or a separate number for each entry. The address texts follow the block register, but the appearance and placement of the plates are not confirmation of the actual inscriptions on the buildings.     My mother-in-law does not have a car and every day she has to walk long in the sun and rain to come babysit her grandchildren, go to the doctor or to the store.

    In order to improve public transport in Zagreb and reduce the dependence of citizens on personal cars, it is necessary to ensure better availability of public transport in this part of the city. The City of Zagreb continuously stresses the need to reduce car traffic and encourage the use of public transport, but the achievement of these goals is possible only if public transport is available, practical and close enough to the place of residence.

The one thats currently there is too close to the new kindergarten but also cannot properly accomodate more busses than it currently does (at least not at the same time). The amount of people that are located in the Blok Vilima Korajca require adequate public transport.
