An invitation to the City of Zagreb and ZET to establish a safe, accessible and technically acceptable position of one or more relevant existing lines.
The petition is addressed to the City of Zagreb, the city transport office and ZET, Zagreb’s public transport operator. It requests a stop served by one or more suitable existing routes near the buildings on Ulica Vilima Korajca and Ulica Antuna Šoljana.
It is important that ZET takes into account the safety of traffic, reasonable walking distance from all nine buildings, existing crossings and directions of movement and accessibility to persons with reduced mobility when choosing a location and line or more lines.
The petition was launched on 27 August 2026 on the openPetition platform.
Update: The initiative was later clarified so that the request would not be limited in advance to route 115 alone. The goal remains the same: a suitable bus stop for Blok Vilima Korajca. ZET is asked to use a traffic and technical assessment to determine which existing route or routes, including 115 and 136, offer the best solution.
The initiative requires a professional and transparent procedure, rather than setting up a stop without traffic checks.
Check all real microlocations and connectivity options with relevant existing lines, including 115 and 136.
When choosing a location and line or multiple lines, consider the safety of traffic, the availability of all nine buildings and the needs of persons with reduced mobility.
To explain to the residents the chosen transport solution, the remaining steps and the indicative deadline for establishing the position.
If a permanent position is not quickly feasible, determine the temporary location until the final solution.
The petition starts with an estimate that nine large buildings have about 1,350 apartments and between 2,000 and 3,000 residents. Despite the size of the residential unit, an appropriate bus stop is not available in the immediate vicinity.
Extra walking makes everyday life especially difficult for older people, children and young people, parents with small children, people with reduced mobility and households without cars.
A closer stand would make it easier to go to work, to school and kindergarten and to the doctor, increase the availability of public transport and reduce the need for a car.
Existing bus lines 115 and 136 present possible options for improving the connection of the block, with the final line or combination of lines to be determined by ZET in accordance with traffic-technical capabilities.

A New Choice of Votes Every DayView all 83 neighbours on the virtual stage→“My mother-in-law doesn’t have a car and every day she has to walk long in the sun and rain to come babysit her grandchildren, go to the doctor or the store.”
“I use public transport and take route 115 to visit my grandchildren in Vilima Korajca. The stops are far apart. For older people and small children it is too far to walk in the rain, cold or this heat. A stop would be a lifesaver and a great relief.”
“We’re a big apartment block, and we don’t have our own bus station.”
Today's selection from all 83 records is presented.
The comment is not mandatory, but it helps to show how an inaccessible position affects real people and their daily obligations.
All 83 records received from 27 August to 3 September 2026 are included. The names have been removed for privacy purposes, the comments have been uploaded in their original form, and the three “-” or “” records have been marked as signatures without further comment.
The petition does not advocate a stop in front of a specific building or entrance nor does it pre-determine a bus line. The final location and line or multiple lines should be chosen professionally, transparently and according to objective traffic and technical criteria, so that they best serve the whole community.
